congrats to those who got in =)

Unfortunately, i didn't get accepted today either. It's sad since we had to do all that waiting and our hope building up. But I know every thing happens for a reason, and I wish everyone the best of luck =)

bummer.. T_T is that it? they sent the email all at once huh? Anybody else on SDN got accepted this morning?

Also, UCMS2013, mind sharing your stats?
 
do any one know when they will send out rejections?
 
They don't send out rejections till Late August ( for those who are on the wait-list) > and for those who has not gotten an interview from USC > Rejection can come anytime between May and August >>>good luck to those who are waiting > don't give up> stay positive
 
If they only send out 36 acceptances this round, doesn't it mean the class will only be 75% full if all 36 people choose to go. So there must be another round of acceptances right?
 
I really don't get why they can't just send out all the acceptances at once. Interviews are pretty much done... It's as if they enjoy this kind of mind-torture. 🙁.
 
Honestly, as much as I appreciate Aznboi contacting them, I would still take all the info today with a grain of salt. It's kinda weird how only one person in SDN received the email. So, chin up, guys!

Okay, I just talked to USC. 4th round is over, and the committee is just "waiting" to see how many people respond before sending out another batch of acceptances. Looks like we won't get a response for a while. This whole process is killing me. 🙁. I guess the best thing we can do now is to relax.

And I'm guessing those who have gotten accepted have 2 weeks to reply. And so we'll have to wait AT LEAST 2 weeks.

First deposit is due 2 weeks prior to acceptance. Second is due may 15th. They might wait till may to decide who's also not taking their offers.

I'm in as well!!!!! I interviewed on 03/05 & OOS. I did not recieve my acceptance until later this afternoon , by email. Best of luck to those still waiting!! If anyone have the Facebook website please post.

I sent thank you cards a week after the interview. I think it's important to express your interest in the school and to thank those who took the time to answer your questions and show your around.
 
I got an email from Ryan saying they are over 75% full. I'm not sure if that includes all the acceptances from last week.

did u specifically ask ryan or he just randomly emailed u? Its kind of fast that its now up to 75% full as most people wait to make their deposits (heard u can do online deposit by CC) at the very last day.
 
could be they are 75 percent full after all the acceptances sent, if all accepted
 
I think it's at the most 75% full. We won't know until next Thursday, when the deposit is due.
 
Just withdrew my spot from USC. Although I like PBL style and the school, the tuition was just too much for me to even think about handling.

So whoever is lucky to get my spot, GOOD LUCK!

Which school did you end up choosing? Yeah, I'm scared of the tuition too, but SC is in SoCal, and I live in SoCal.
 
I will also be withdrawing my acceptance
I hope someone who really needs it gets it!

Alright, I called USC, and I found out that the next round of acceptances will be first or second week of May. Hopefully it'll be next week--because I think the deposit for 4th round acceptances is due at the end of this week, and by next week they'll know how many spots are free.

I see. I emailed Ryan after the last batch of acceptances and he said beginning in May they will be sending out individual acceptances. I'm actually hoping they send one big one out, instead of one by one.
 
Cool. I guess it's likely to be next week then. 🙂. And I didn't know it was individual acceptances. But if we get in, we'll probably get phone calls, so I think it's still okay... I still wonder why they couldn't have just sent out 70ish acceptances in the last round though. Why keep us waiting? Imma wait till later this week or earlier next week to call again to see how many spots are available. Hopefully it's more than 25%...

BTW, did you email Ryan through his email or the general USC admissions email?
 
Thanks! Good luck to you too. I can tell that we all really want this. Waiting on USC is slowly killing me... it's almost unbearable.

Just called today, and the person said that the class is "75% full". I don't know if it's just a generic answer given to everyone--because I doubt all 36 people in the 4th round accepted the offers. I don't think we'll get an accurate response unless it comes from Ryan... everyone else seems to give a ballpark response. I don't like this uncertainty. 🙁. Also, news will probably come first two weeks of May. Hang tight everybody! And please post if you receive any kind of phone calls/emails.

Looks like we have more waiting to do. I emailed Ryan, and he said mid-May. Probably won't come out this week, but rather next, next week. 🙁. I don't know why it's taking them so long. I hope we'll hear news sooner though. Well, here's to more waiting. I know we all really want USC.

Doesn't seem like we will be hearing anything until after the whole traffic rules policy goes into effect, which is I think May 15th?
 
Oh, I get it. Traffic rules = not holding more than 1 spot. I guess there's no clear logic behind USC's slowness. At this point, I think it's the only school that has only 75% of its seats filled. I'm pretty sure all other 60 something schools have most of their seats filled already.
