Hey guys,

Does anybody have any experience with TPR's MCAT verbal? Hyperlearning I think is what they call it. Is their strategy any different? And more importantly, would anybody argue that their strategy is any more effective than Kaplan's or EK's? Has it worked for anybody out there? Is it worth the money?

It's worthless. I just took the normal TPR course. The verbal accelerator class they have on top of the normal class doesn't really give you anything more than your verbal teacher will.

I would argue that the TPR verbal method is something you should stay away from...while it makes sense if you know exactly which is gonna be the killer passage, there are too many variables so I would stay away...

TPR is not realistic for the amount of time you have. It didn't work for me. I liked EK's stategy. Although, I would have to say that there is no perfect verbal stategy that will work for everybody. You kinda have to look around and do different strategies and see what works for you. You may take some of EKs tips and some of TPRs tips and then tweak it a little so it can work for you. If you have time, do different approaches and see what clicks. Also, do verbal everyday or every other day (2-3 passages).

The strategy sucks, but the Verbal Workbook is great and a must get if you can find it. The workbooks pops up from time to time in the For Sale section on here.
