I am taking the TPR PCAT Test 1 right now. And holy crap is it so difficult. Like even my best topic, quantitative is a bitch to do right now.

I got a 690 on my GRE quantitative and I would be lucky if I cracked 60% on this thing.

Is the TPR PCAT exam similar to the actual PCAT?

I haven't looked at the Princeton Review, but I have the Kaplan and McGraw hill book and their final exams are very inaccurate and flawed. The Kaplan book in particular has really difficult chemistry questions in which half the questions require lengthy calculations with huge numbers; very hard compared to Collins and the Pearson practice exam. McGraw Hill has a really easy math exam, so unlike the real thing, and Kaplan math is extremely flawed. I don't think the PCAT prep books out there are very good when it comes to giving an accurate representation of the actual exam, they are however good at teaching the material for certain sections. Collins is very good in the actual types of questions you will see on the exam, and very similar to the Pearson PCAT practice exam as well. If I were you I would buy a practice test from Pearson and see where I would sand.

You're definitely not alone in this feeling. I couldn't actually get the test to open, but the drills and quizzes they had online had questions that seemed MUCH more difficult than those I've seen in other studying materials. I'm not even bothering with it anymore.
