The strangest question you've been asked at an interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
At Tufts, "You seemed to have done all high-brow jobs like research and dental assisting, have you ever been in a job that is more down and dirty?"

Pfft. I definitely wouldn't consider dental assisting to not be "down and dirty," especially with all the saliva and blood covered disposables and instruments you touch. Not to mention, being in contact with the warm filthy germ bath AKA the ultrasonic cleaner for steri that just shakes all the crap off all day ... *shudders*

"If you were giving a presentation and someone yawned, what would you do?"
"If you are in a foreign country and wanted to by pork chops and wine, how would you communicate that if you couldn't speak the language?"
"Did you apply to your state school? Why would you choose us over them?"
the first two are fun questions, i'd much prefer these over "why should we take you over all the other equally qualified applicants" XD

I got asked the same question in my interview. Because I didn’t want to do it?
yeah that really caught me off guard haha. Especially b/c i worked at chipotle (a low wage job) for almost 4 years during college. I just told them i learned so much about hard work being at a low wage job and how fortunate i am etc.
