Can someone explain to me why A is a better answer than C in the following question. I've uploaded an a picture for you to see it clearly. I understand that the thin lens formula can be rearranged into y = -mx + b, but how can you ever have a point that hits 0 on the graph?

The graph can hit the zero marks on the y or x axis when the object or image are an infinite distance away. You have to take the limit of the function. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the question though.
