How to ask your all female RA staff to help you search through a gigabyte of pornographic jpg's stored on the department server and delete duplicates.

Yes, I had to do this earlier this week and it felt like I was in one of those sexual harassment videos from the 80's. Gotta love the shock factor of it for people who haven't been exposed to the IAPS before. I explained beforehand what we were dealing with, but there's really no preparing people for it.

As you might imagine....AWKWARD.

Just thought you all might find that entertaining.

They've been used in past projects I believe (as comparison "appetitive stimuli"), but regardless they come standard with the image sets we have;) So don't blame us, blame Peter Lang!

We're a health psych lab that has done almost no research on anything remotely approaching sexuality save for a dissertation a year or two ago where women had to try on hideous 2-piece swimsuits to induce body-image self-consciousness (which again, none of these RAs were there for), so explaining why we have a monstrous amount of pornography was....tricky.

On my second day of grad school, my ethics professor asked me about my level of religious observance and told me it would hurt my practicum chances.

Huh?...Well, I'm glad I don't go there.
