What are they? I see a lot of forum posts about the "best" programs... what are some of the easier programs to get into and a good idea for a weak applicant?
Thanks!!

There is technically no official tier system of radiology programs. Generally-speaking, community programs and less research-heavy university programs tend to be less competitive, but location plays a huge role (a NYC community program may be more competitive than a university program in the midwest). Also, keep in mind "community" or "less research-heavy" doesn't at all equal "bad", though reputation varies.
programs that I have heard are huge no-no's: Harlem hospital and Bronx lebanon in NYC
Bronx Lebanon no longer exists.
Harlem could be decent, so I don't know why it isn't - mainly administrative issues I'd imagine. Good location if you want to live in NYC though (somewhat bad neighborhood, but right on the 2/3).
Really? When did Bronx Lebanon go under?
The program, not the hospital.
Yes of course. 🙂 When did their rads program go under? I was not aware of that. Didn't apply I don't think, but I could have sworn that I saw it this last match cycle.
