Jeff is located in Center city and so is its major rehab hospital Magee. You also rotate through Moss in North Philly. Call as a PGY-2 is inhouse at Magee, about par for big rehab programs. You also get a chance to work in the Rothman Institute which is a major musculoskeletal group in Philly.

The academics of this program is one of its strengths, the faculty are very interested in teaching and didactics are strong with adjunct anatomy lab. A lot of the faculty have really made a name for themselves including the legengary Dr Staas and Herbeson and some of the younger faculty such as Dr Fried and Saulino are very strong.

Weaknesses are few, some may consider the SCI heavy--but most good programs are strong in that area. Research is ongoing and you can certainly take part, but the requirements are not as heavy as other programs.
