So I called a couple of Prometric Centers inquiring on their facilities and rules, and I've got to say that the customer reps were the rudest lowest class of people I've dealt with. Any ideas on how to choose a site?
Yeah, mine were fairly rude as well. I had these two frumpy old ladies. Fortunately, it's not much of a problem since you don't interact with them much.

Thomson Prometric is just a bad company in general. Let me illustrate:
I was scheduled to take the august 20th MCAT in Jacksonville, FL. I live in Gainesville FL so I set out to Jacksonville 2 hrs before the exam (it's like a 1.5 hr drive). Anyway, halfway thru, the prometric center calls me to tell me that the exam is canceled due to "technical difficulties". And they told me to call their number (a 800 number) to reschedule. Now, can you imagine rescheduling for the remaining test days of 2007 on August 20th? My friend had to fly out to Austin to take his on sept. 7th. And after much arguing and yelling I was able to get a spot for sept. 11th near Miami FL (roughly a 4 hr drive from me).
the point is, prometric closed a test site for a day and did not open up any spaces for those people. I nearly had to resort to taking the test in january. This company is possibly the worst i have ever dealt with.

Yeah, one of the people at my testing center was a real rude SOB. I can see why he'd be that way, though. Sitting at the front desk and watching people with futures far brighter than his own, day in and day out.
