I would appreciate any and all thoughts on my situation.
I am a non traditional student....graduated undergrad in 2003. My dilemma is with the one year required chemistry. I took chem my frosh year and got a C- and then an F (thinking about going pre med but didn't try). My advisor then recommended I retake the full year of chemistry my sophomore year. I did and got a B- and then a C.
Fast forward to today....one successful career under my belt and a MS with a 4.0 GPA and I have decided to go back to school and go for DPT. Obviously, I need to retake chemistry...no question there. But it seems ridiculous to me to take general chem for the 3rd time! Should I take Orgo instead to demonstrate I have a mastery of the material and have the ability to survive z tough course? Or does it really really not matter at all and this is just checking a box? (I am not worried about possibly getting a lower grade in the harder class...long story but I am actually decent in chemistry and like Orgo).
The general chem classes are certainly easier to fit in my crazy schedule so that's why I am struggling over what to do.
