I am currently doing RF procedures at a hospital where they have a Cosman stimulator. The rep spoke with me about the Radionics Disctrode. I am thinking about it but don't have any experience with this.

At the same time, the neurosurgeons are planning on getting an Ellman stimulator to do a minimally invasive discectomy procedure called Joimax. The rep spoke with me and said they have another device that goes with the stimulator called Disk Fx. To me, it sounds like the Arthrocare spine wand, except the tip of the wand is directional so you can steer the lesion to the posterior part of the nucleus pulposus. Also the rep said since it comes with an endoscope, you can bill as a discectomy, instead of a percutaneous discectomy.

Any thoughts on either of the two procedures?
