Thoughts on PPP/physician representation?

Sorry if this overlaps with the we choose NPs post. But after seeing Florida’s latest NP autonomy vote has once again made me wonder why we don’t fight for ourselves.

I know we have ACEP who might sell us out to CMGs. AAEM who have the right idea but small teeth. But lately I’ve seen a lot about PPP.

Has anyone joined PPP? What should I know about them?

And is there any other physician advocacy group I should know about?

I think PPP is solid. There are frequent posts about pending legislation for us to write to legislators about.

Wish there was a strong personality with good leadership skills out there to take the charge on physician advocacy. There’s a huge void waiting to be filled.
