Has anyone gone through this process and gotten a feel for how an old misdemeanor conviction affected your chance at acceptance? I am a quasi non-traditional applicant who took all the requirements post-bacc. I have a misdemeanor (only arrest) from early 2001, just after my 20th birthday. I am 24 now and have not had any more trouble (it will be over 5 and a half years old when I plan to matriculate). I am aware that I will need to report this on most secondaries, but am not sure how it will affect my chance of being accepted. I will apply for Fall 2006. I believe my application is extremely competitive exclusive of this and would like to hear from anyone with first-hand experience.

Thanks

Everytime I find something that looks relevant, it turns out to be a morality argument with no helpful info, but thank you, I will try again.
