Women are not evil but are more easily offended. Holding a head up is not desecration. If it were spitting or mutilating, we'd agree.

Older women are not easily offended, btw. Of which, I am one.

Holding it up like a "trophy" = desecration.

Examining the head once removed from the body, reviewing the arteries, vein, anything else in a respectful manner is not desecration.

The OP did the former, not the latter.

... insert Chappelle stuff here ...

It was in this joking mood/end of the year mood that when it was time for us to decapitate the head, I, for whatever idiotic reason, though it was funny to hoist the decaptiated head high up as if I am holding a trophy.[/QUOTE]

You were questioning what we all jumped on? Really?

I'm wondering how people are imagining how I held up the cadaver's head. I didn't go all Mortal Kombat on it nor did I go Mad Max and screamed like a cannibal.

None of us were there so we can't tell. People on this forum are just soft and it's not that big of a deal. What's actually more concerning is that you've already been told you're terrible to work with. The girl was probably just looking for anything to whine to administration about. You had your chances.

Like many words, it's open to interpretation like what you find funny I may not.

Women of all ages are the same. Like I said, kids, just because she pretends to be like one of the guys, it doesn't make it reality.

At the moment, I thought it would be funny, but it was not as if I was holding the head on a stake or swinging the head around and screaming like a cannibal..... All of which many of You alluded to

This is why we take professionalism so seriously. Where do you think those unethical doctors cone from???

They start out as unethical students, there's published data to prove it.

There is something wrong in medicine when mistreating patients is deemed less offensive than mistreating cadavers.

But you sure thought it was in this "joking manner" (your words, not mine)... THAT is the issue. You did not worry about WTF you were doing until you were told you'd been reported.

That is also the issue. AT the time, you did not care what you were doing to the cadaver. Now, because you're in hot water, you do.

Wow. I really really hope you never treat females of any age. Your misogynistic views are simply appalling.

Like I said, kids, just because she pretends to be like one of the guys, it doesn't make it reality.

I have never pretended to be a man, nor act like one. Just noticed on Craigslist there's a shovel for sale, should I send the ad your way? 😉

The person who donated their body to medicine was a stranger...who somehow trusted this profession and valued its future physicians enough to donate their most intimate possession to your education. You owe it to that person to respect their gift, their generosity, and the faith they are putting in you. You owe it to their families to use that gift only as it was intended: for your education. Anything less is the height of ingratitude.

This. Perfectly said. 100% true.

And a condescending post by someone self labeling as oh-so-mature seems inevitable response to my comment. If you're offended by someone quoting the Chapelle show, it's you who are the problem in society.

umm, Bro. Do you REALLY think that this was about Chapelle, or even people getting "offended"? If so, I have a simple response (NSFW)

Read the OP's post history. He has a history of being told to grow the f-ck up in in grownup situations, and he hasn't been able to do that. Occams's Razor is that if the OP gets's reported it's because the OP couldn't stop acting like a manchild despite repeated social cues to learn to STFU in situations where STFUing is required. This has jack **** to do with "feminists" or "SJWs" or any other related group. If you're in med school it's time to grow up. Not doing so has harsh consequences, and this is hardly a new phenomenon.

But yes, it's the fault of "feminists" that people don't know how to interpret social cues... 🙄

Threads do have a way of taking hard turns on SDN jeeze....

OP: In your first post, you admitted you knew you fk'd up. Your original question was how to avoid being stupid...well, get help(professional), because "acting out" is going to get you in trouble in most professions.
