Three finals in one day?

Yes I had all my finals in one day. On the first day of finals week. Good times.

Here's a tip: alcohol makes the pain eventually go away.

Dang, that's pretty intense. My school offers students the chance to re-schedule one exam if they have 3 within a period of 24 hours.

it's pretty much inevitable in college at some point or another, but not recommended.

Same. You should talk to your dean/advisor and see if you can get one moved.

I took 3 in one day. Having to study for 3 finals in one day was a bitch, for sure, but knowing that I was completely done by 3 pm on the Monday of finals week was awesome.

That feeling is amazing, but short-lived if you get your scores back within the week.

Initially I had two on that day, but my physiology professor randomly changed the date of the final so I ended up with three on the very same day. I figured I'd rather take them all instead of dealing with my professors, but in retrospect, I probably should have talked to them.
 
had 3 finals last week, but they were all non-cumulative thankfully
 
I had one semester where my exams all landed on the same week the entire semester, usually with at least one day having multiple exams. Then for finals I had 2 exam days with 2 on one day and 3 on the other. Definitely not fun to take cumulative calc and orgo finals, as well as a psych final on the same day. It was a really stressful semester and my GPA was mediocre. You cannot be expected to do your absolute best on each final exam in that situation. Just time manage as best as you can leading up to it, and take deep breaths before your tests. GL :luck:
 
I am so grateful all my exams are take home this round, but I've been there, done that.

Microbio, Orgo II, and then calc 2.
 
I had three in one day last semester (Bio, Orgo, Anthro). But they were on Friday, so I had plenty of time to prepare.
 
This thread makes me feel like a whimp for freaking out about my orgo II final 🙁

3 finals in a day 1) sucks, but 2) is common and 3) doesn't even begin to come close to being compared with rape. Be careful about throwing that verb around....it's insensitive and (often more than) a peeve for survivors of assault...

Chances are you know someone who's been assaulted, you just don't know about it--considering how infrequently sexual assaults are reported...Using it in this way minimizes the action. Just something to think about since you're hoping to become a physician...and yes, I know you didn't mean anything malicious by it.

Consider yourself and anybody else who casually uses the word enlightened. 🙂
 
Did that last semester. Advanced cell bio at 8, Anatomy & Physiology at 10:30 and biochem at 1. I took it like a man.

I had general chem II and Physics I final on the same day which happened to be a day of snow storm. That day was terrible and some girls were crying after the final. I was bloody pissed too but then I straight went to gamestop and bought COD and then .... raped my console

First year, same story. I started out the day good with finals even though I got no sleep, and was running on energy drinks and coffee (legit, had 3 montsters and was on my second 5-hour). Second exam came, I asked to be excused so I could throw up...that exam did not turn out how imagined. My third exam I passed out during. The TA woke me up and told me their were only 20mins left...I remembered that I had done only 58 out 150 questions. I failed that exam, and the class. I repeated it over winter break, got my A.

I learned after my winter course my college has a policy, that if you have 3 finals in one day you are allowed to get one moved. I suggest looking into it also. Maybe email a prof. and ask if you can take a make up ?

oh nah it wast bad, i pulled 2 A and a A minus.

microbio at mah skool is not bad at all. orgo II i rly studied mah heart out, never tried so hard in mah whole life, and calc 2 was a walk in the park since math comes natually to me.

its all depended on your school, i am sure if i went to MIT, Calc 2 would have assraped me sideways.
 
how did you do? I just had four in four days, which wasn't too much, but was exhausting.
 
Organic 2, linear algebra, and differential equations 1. It was...fun.
 
I'm studying today for my finals tomorrow. Need to get started ;/
 
Our school lets you move one as well if you have three in a day.
 
Systems Neuroscience, Biochem, Physics II. Back to back to back last spring. I cried.

Man, that sounds intense. Luckily I had the time to review the material in a short time and the stuff just came back to me because I learned it well during the year. So thankfully no all-nighters and I didn't get deprived of sleep... I am just worried that when Tuesday rolls in I'll have all the stuff mixed up in my head. 😀
 
for some reason my school decides to schedule orgoII final on Sunday(three days after last day of class) while my final for humanities classes are still a week away :eyebrow:
