Three IIs and then... radio silence

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I received three IIs in the first week of September and since then, absolutely nothing! Any ideas why this might be happening?? I'm stressing out! Completed all apps last week of july / first week of august.

@Goro take 2 of these (chill pills)

They will come! Fear not 🙂

I got 2 in the second week of July, 2 in the second week of August, 4 in the first week of September and so on. They are all spaced out however they please. Getting three II is a positive sign, you should anticipate (not expect but anticipate) another one to three more before New Years.

Thanks y'all - needed the assurance 🙂

FWIW, I had a couple in late August, silence for the beginning of Sept and then a few more later this month-with no correlation to the school’s stats or anything. I really think the order is random and depends on the school’s workflow and/or whoever is reading it. You’ll be OK

I went 5 weeks between II, but the one I just received was UCSF. I also have 1/3 to 1/4 the II of many people with similar stats with me... for what it's worth. Expecting predictability in an unpredicatble process is not advised.

Had a month between my 6th and 7th interview invite (7th coming this week). Very random.

I'm not complaining at all but FWIW, I got 3 II's in July, 6 II's in August and since have had a month of just holds and R's lol. I'm not really expecting any more II's though. If your list is more top-heavy (I assume your list is b/c you do have excellent stats), your II's could trickle in a little slower as those schools are very competitive and many have nonrolling decisions.

I have had a similar pattern.

Patience is a virtue; the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Not directed at you, OP, but SDNers are advised to not to have the mindset of “I sent in my apps; where are my IIs???!!!”
