Three rejections in one day

Can anyone beat that one?

God, nobody can make you feel like absolute, worthless garbage better than a Med school admissions committee. I thought I had grown a thick skin through all of this, and I am incredibly lucky in that I actually have one acceptance, but this still gets to me.

No, fortunately, none of them were my top choices, and they were all pre-interview rejections that I was expecting anyway, but I still feel like crap.

One was one of my state schools, U Buffalo, where my parents went and where I thought I had a great shot. Oh, well, just proves that this whole process is a weird crap shoot.

well you have a spot already waiting for you, so cheer up! Let's see, so far i have 10 pre-interview rejections. I have 6 schools that I am expecting rejections from because they have not sent me any word yet. But you know what? I have a spot ready for me. I'm am going to med school!!!

hey how about this one? i got 2 rejection letters from stanford.

they sent me one in july. then they emailed me saying they made a mistake and offered a secondary to me. i filled that out...and got a rejection again!!!
bastards!! they just wanted my money.

rejects from emory, ucla(alma mater), uci today. boo hoo.

I got 5 rejections last week. Two on Monday, one on Wednesday, and 2 on Saturday. When I do get into medical school and win the Nobel Prize, I will gleefully tell all of these schools to kiss my butt!

Yeah I had the same thign happen earlier to me. The weekly "rejection letter Monday"

Got rejected from UPENN today.

However unlike some of the people here I have no acceptances at the time.

So this really sucks ass.

i just got home and checked my mail. 2 rejection letters and 1 waitlist.

I tied it yesterday: 3 rejection letters: UNC, Emory, PENN. I knew they were all rejections and forgot about them until this morning when I confirmed the obvious. No biggie.... happy with my acceptances and waitlists.... not expecting any more interviews... but if they happen to come... then so be it.
