So I am having major problems registering on THx....4 emails and 2 phonecalls to AMCAS later and still no resolution. Some guy from AAMCAS that is an MCAT specialist is supposed to call me today. All this b/c i couldn't remember my mcat login name and password. Is anyone else having this much trouble???

oh well, at least i realized this last week and not this week. hopefully it will be sorted out by thursday.

You gotta set up a new login name and password...it's not the same as the one that u registered with for the MCAT. I was able to re-register, and everything was fine...your reporting of the score is based on the SSN, so no need to worry...try re-registering and see waht happens.

did you get a message when you re-registered though that the account didn't match up? every time i re-registered it gave me this threat about how my data did not match yada yada... and i've tried it like ten times using subtle variatons (like parkway for pkwy and vice versa). it says you can hit continue, but that in summary, bad things might happen.

THANKS!! :luck: :D

Nope...no weird messages...try re-registering with a different user name and password all together (of course, personal info staying the same). If that doesn't work, then I really don't know what 2 tell u.

I took my MCAT in August and the option of releasing my score to TMDSAS isn't freakin' available because I don't have a single set of score. What gives?

this is what i get when i enter my information:

"Our records do not match your answers. Please read the questions again, making sure you answer truthfully, otherwise your MCAT data and/or previous application history may be wrong which could affect your MCAT application.

If this is still an error, please contact us at [email protected] to correct this.

We strongly recommend contacting us to resolve this issue, but if you feel that you need to complete this registration process and begin your application, click Continue below. Note that if you are assigned an incorrect AAMC ID, your AMCAS application may be delayed, and your MCAT scores may not be correctly associated with your application. If you still would like to continue, check the box below to indicate that you understand these risks and then click Continue. "

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

and this is after 4 emails and 2 phone calls to them....

medanthgirl, that message sounds really familiar. Long story, but I signed up last year for the 2005 amcas application, but did not apply or submit. I completely forgot my login and password and believe I just went ahead and re-registered despite the warning. However, after I did that and put in my soc security number, etc., the system still linked me back to my old records and same aamc number (I later checked). Of course, I didn't have mcat scores yet, so it may be different for you, but if the system linked me to my old record, I would think it'd do so for you, too. On the other hand, I suppose the safest thing is to wait to hear back from AAMC...

I emailed them with a question and got a boilerplate of a response. It was a generic form email that didn't actually answer any of my questions. However, since I entered my SSID when I re-registered, I assume that I'll be able to see my scores on Thursday. Well, I *better*... Or I'll be pulling some hair out. I actually need a hair cut, anyway.
