When will residency interview invites start to come?

It will vary according to the competitiveness of the specialty you are pursuing, the competitiveness of the programs to which you've applied, the competitiveness of your application for those programs, and how quickly the supporting documentation arrives via ERAS. Some programs send out invitations right away, and some wait to assess the MSPE, but most fall in the middle -- waiting a couple of weeks to start reviews so they can get a sense of the applicant pool.

Once you have sent your application and requested your letters and USMLE scores, you have done all you can do for the time being. Try not to think about it or obsessively refresh your emails for at least 3 weeks.

You can check on ERAS the status of all the components of your application. My transcript, USMLE, and letters of rec have all been uploaded and most programs have already downloaded these. Interview isn't until November though.

You can see when your USMLE transcript is uploaded into ERAS. Sometimes it takes a few days I've heard. Mine was uploaded this afternoon.

Some people in my class (both going into Peds) got interview invites today as well! Their apps were complete aside from our dean's letters.

May I ask, from where? The only place I have heard that has sent out an IV today is St Barnabas, NY 😉

Tracking my documents in ERAS, I'm surprised how many programs (maybe 40%?) have already downloaded the available documents. Unfortunately my app is still missing a letter....OK, back to work...

I didnt really have the time nor interest to look through all my programs, but I looked through 10-15, and ALL of them had downloaded my application. Same here, missing a letter...well, cant change a few things 🙂

So the USMLE transcript is uploaded automatically after you submit your application to all of the different programs (assuming you have already released it)? I submitted my app about an hour ago but don't see my USMLE scores available yet. How long did that take to show up in everyone's Post Office after submitting their apps?

Looks like it took around 7-8 hrs for my USMLE transcript to be uploaded.

Quite possible - mine still hasnt been released and its over 12 hours..called up ERAS who have an automated message saying it takes up to 48 hours for the transcript to show up.
