From the ADEA Official Guide To Dental Schools 2012:

Time to Degree in Months: NYU (48) and USC (40)

Can anyone explain the difference behind the two schools? That's 2/3 of a year difference! Does USC get several months off during the summer or something?

Thanks.

No clue, but you should go to each of their websites and look at the academic calendars to see what time the students have off.

I tried to do that, but USC doesn't list their detailed calendar or at least I couldn't find it!

I'm sure you could call the school and ask about their academic calendar if you're not sure where to find it on the internet.
