Hello all,

I have been invited to an interview at University of Alabama, Birmingham for the MSHA program. Any advice/heads up knowledge pertaining to topics to focus on/ faculty questions etc..about such a program interview would be highly appreciated.

Cheers!!!

For the one interview I've had so far (UW) I was surprised at how similar the questions were to standard job interview questions. So, as with any interview, prepare for the standard questions and know everything there is to know about the program and faculty member you'll be talking to! Also have questions about the program prepared so that it can be more of a two way exchange. Sorry this is so general...

Like UnsunnedSnow said, all the interviews I've had were very similar to job interviews. Basically, know why you want to pursue a MHSA and why you want to go to that particular school, and you should be fine. One recurring question was "what is your biggest strength and biggest weakness" so have a prepared answer for that. Also, try to research the program (especially their website) and ask specific questions so the interviewers will know you are really interested in their program!
