I understand this question may not belong on SDN, but how do people (accepted) begin looking for housing for M1 at a new school in a new city? What are your tips? What are the considerations? How do people connect with potential roommates in a new state? How soon before July should you start the process? Thanks

For housing: check Zillow/Trulia for rental properties, try to balance cost/location (proximity to education buildings/hospitals)

For roommates: accepted students’ Facebook groups

I’ve heard that second look weekend can be a great opportunity to physically visit housing options too 🙂 and maybe meet some roomies
