For those of you that requested some minor changes via email after you had already submitted your application, how long did it take? Any confirmation from TMDSAS?
1) No, but be sure to send in transcripts every semester with the coursework.baylormed said:Do I need to include Spring 2007 classes on the TMDSAS application. I only included Fall 06 because I'm registered for them already....
Also, how long to get processed if they already have my transcripts and committee letters?
I hope you try this, get caught, and placed in the "problem pile," (from which few applications emerge, muhahahahaha.)as06 said:Has anyone successfully listed engineering courses as 'Non Science?' Or has TMDSAS insisted that they be listed as 'Other Science' by asking for corrections?
Yes, you get an email letting you know.baylormed said:
Baylormed: Submitted 7-7. Transcripts Received in May. Evaluation Letter from Committee received 6/26. Pictures, App Fee and Cert.Page received 7/10. Still in line.
Anastasis: Submitted 6/6 (I think), transcripts received in June, Verified on 6/21
Pemberley: Submitted 6/13 w/ transcripts already in, LORs in 6/26, Verified 6/28
Jota: Submitted 6/9, transcripts received in May, LORs in 6/22, Verified 6/21
How will we know when we have been verified? E-mail?

Seriously, don't be an A-hole. Follow the rules. List your engineering courses as Science. I know it sucks, but we all have to do it.
Sorry about that. The whole issue is just a sore spot with me because my TMDSAS Science GPA < Overall GPA < BCPM GPA because of my engineering courses.as06 said:thanks for the answer JJ -- wasn't trying to be an a-hole or skirt the rules...just wanted to make sure that was in fact tmdsas policy and not that of an impatient person at their call center
yep, listing engineering courses as science ones is gonna suck.
best of luck
yabbadabbadoo said:thanks! how about my previous question? do you know? how should university classes taken during high school be counted as?
hmm.. that's interesting, and a good possibility. maybe i'll just send them an email..as06 said:This was my thinking: they say that all summer courses should be listed for the subsequent year (so a class taken b/w freshman and soph years becomes a sophomore year class). For TMDSAS, I'm considering my life before freshman year as a huge summer. So all university classes during high school became freshman classes.
Thoughts?
2 days, but I am in Austin (although I think it pretty much only takes 1 day to mail anything first class within TX.)bodhisattva said:How long did it take from the time you dropped your certification page in the mail until the time TMDSAS acknowledged they received it? I mailed mine out a week ago, and there's still this big blank on my status page.

Nah I don't think so.Zuerst said:Did you guys list all the other schools you're applying to in your TMDSAS application? I listed all of them and they're all pretty much all "reach" schools. I'm afraid this might hurt my chances with the Texas schools? Is this thought unfounded?
DrVanNostran said:I have a quick question:
I sent in my committee letter on the 29th and it was received on the 7th. I also sent a letter via Interfolio on the 29th but it is still not marked as received? Does it take longer to verify Interfolio letters?---I was thinking of dropping them an email....
Yes, many of us have interviews. Rather than repeat it here, there is a separate "Texas Interviews" thread.aerodivya said:hi.
how did you guys know when your a&m and tech secondaries were complete (i.e. the certification page and fee were received and processed?)
also, does anyone have interviews yet? if so from where and what is the timeline like?
thanks so much.
