I just posted this in the other acceptance thread but figured I'd ask here too: did y'all reply to the acceptance email(s)?

I'm getting so worried I didn't get any acceptances from any of the Texas schools. Do they have rounds of acceptances or is this it? I interviewed at all of them ahead of November. Congrats on those that got in to the Texas schools y'all must be really happy! 🙂

There are certainly further rounds, usually in January. Still lots of invites to be given out before things are decided.

You will hear them soon! How's your stats ? I am sure prob you should hear them hopefully January.
 
Same here...I did not hear anything from them yet! Even an invite for interviews...I am not sure this is it for me. Texas doesnt like me then 🙁
Average stat gpa3.4 DAT 20/21/21

Did anyone receive any scholarship offers? Is a 3.9 or 26 is not worthy of an academic merit or performance scholarships :\

You got into UTSD, right? They do not offer scholarships for incoming students. Only in the fall of D1, after you're already there. Strange, I know.

Baylor and SA give scholarship offers in the snail mail packet that comes in later in the week.

Strange indeed...Do you know how much a scholarship can range from? Anyway to save more money!
No Baylor and SA invites so I won't be expecting snail mail anytime soon..

Nope. Dr. Pierpont made it seem like they were more need-based than merit-based as well. He seemed uncomfortable talking about it tbh.

Your stats are decent though! Don't give up hope.
How are your shadowing and volunteer hours? Extra Curriculars?

The scholarships for both BCD and UTHSCSA are sent out via email at the time of acceptance and by snail mail. I think it was a one time 5K scholarship for both BCD and UTHSCSA. Not sure about UTSD.

I don't think this was true last year...everyone here reported their scholarship ~3 days after their acceptance. But I could be wrong.

That's odd. Are you sure they meant the snail mail scholarship came in 3 days later and not the the email? I remember the scholarship emails coming in at the same time as the acceptance email and snail mail coming in a few days later. I could be mistaken, it's been a while.

To those of you who are still awaiting emails/letters, don't give up hope yet! There's still plentyyyyy of time. Keep ya' heads up and fingers crossed.

Pretty sure. Last year, no one got a scholarship the first night. Then a few days later, when the packets came in, scholarships started getting reported.

Same same... Feeling pretty disheartened..
 
For those of us that didn't get an acceptance, are we wait-listed? Anyone get any other notification?
 
PSA: TMDSAS is for the application only, and will not be a timely source of updated information from schools. For questions, I highly suggest you contact schools directly.
 
One advantage of living 30mins from the school: I got my official letter today from Baylor! Also came with a scholarship 😀, so CHECK THE MAIL FOLKS!!!
