Hello, are there any books you guys recommend reading before med school? Also, do you guys recommend some things other things to do before the start of medical school especially as someone who will be living quite far from home?

Read or do something you enjoy. You will read enough material while in medical school, take this time for yourself. Free time is something that becomes a scarcity.

Highly recommend The D.O.s by Norman Gevitz. The Mystery of the Exploding Teeth is also a book I have found hard to put down. But I agree with the posters above, just enjoy your time!
