to push or not to push... that is the question

some opinions please:

nbme 4: 195 (no prior studying)
nbme 5: 209 (4 weeks in)
kaplan qbank (more my learning process): 55%
UW qbank (all mixed tests): 57%

taking the test a week from tomorrow: still need to cover a BIG chunk of pharm, heme/onc path, renal path and GI path.

goal is to break 220, much happier approaching 230.

the question is should i push my date back a week?

I realize these threads are a dime a dozen... i'm just freaking a little.

i'd push. just a week. spend the last few days doing pharm hard, and biochem/lysosomal/micro.

thanks for the reinforcement... i was kind of thinking the same thing.

everyone just always says... don't push back!

but hey, its one more week and unfortunately this thing is important.

Yeah....Id def push back a week. You want to be able to have at least covered ALL the material once and hopefully leave a few days for quick review of Pharm, etc...The quick recall stuff. I think you will feel better about the test and be able to go in more confident. I know lots of people that pushed back and did great! 🙂 Do whats right for you.
