To those of you who have completed a one masters program, what was your GPA? Is having an SMP GPA of 3.5 competitive enough for private schools? It's really unfair that one question in an SMP can determine a 3.5 or a 3.6

What was your undergrad GPA and how many SMP credits have you completed?

Undergrad gpa was around 3.0 and science gpa was 3.1. I have taken 33 credits and cannot take more. It's at rutgers

i was told by an adcom that you need a 3.5+ in your SMP for it to be looked good upon and i've been told this by others as well

This was exactly my issue as well! Worst part, I showed the professor in the book where they were wrong and that I answered the question correctly and I still was not awarded the 1 point that I was away from the 3.6 😡

Anways... My GPA was 3.5 for the SMP and I was accepted to 3 schools. Just work hard and score well on the DAT!
