Did Anybody Who Took Their Exams O N 9th Of December Recieve Their Toefl Ibt Scores By Post Yet. Please Reply

hi i'm a citizen and all and even grew up here... so i didnt take the TOEFL requirement very seriously, and i walked in without studying and gave it. i gpt a score 95 which i relaized was nothing to get excited about 🙁 could you give me an advice on wether i should take it again?

I did the same thing and got 105. I walked in and took the exam. First of, i did not even realize that they have changed the format etc. It was funny though. I have been living in this country for over 7 yrs now and have a Master's from the US as well. But schools still require us to take TOEFL again and again? coz, the score expires in 2 yrs (It is just a way of extracting money, I Guess).
Anyways, if you are a citizen, why did you have to take the TOEFL exam.??

Yes you should definetly give it again...Try to get over 100..speaking and listening will not be any proble for you..just practice on answering the question properly in the alloted time without any .."uh....and ummss..." that is what drops down ur score in speaking! and also try to improve your writing by reading lots of essays...

well i spoke to UIC about it and they said regardless of me being a citizen its a requirement which needs to be fulfilled...
i think they make an *** out of us for self pleasure.... they watch all these students cry, which is completely uncalled for when we are simply going back to school!! /college

and thanx fefzie for the advice... on the ums" hehe... i do recall doin that for one answer although more then speaking or listening in which i attained a good score. i had difficulty with the time restrained reading and answering............
