Too late for TUFTs

Hey, Just wondering what I should do regarding this situation..I have received an email from TUFTs saying they want to further process my app and to pay the 70$...Is it really too late in the game for this? My undergrad stats aren't that amazing and DAT scores not that good. I am in BU-MAMS-oral health and my stats are great in that program.

In a nutshell, do you think it would be worth it to shell out the $70 so late in the game? 😕

Honestly, I wouldn't. I interviewed there on Feb 28 and they said at the interview that they only had about 10 seats left and they expected those to be filled by outstanding offers and that everything from that point forward would most likely be for waitlist. It's up to you if you want to give it a shot. You never know what could happen. I just wanted to let you know what I was told just over a week ago. Good luck! 🙂

I just got the following as a response to my email to TUFTS :

Thank you for your email. At this time our office is still sending invitations for interviews into March however we are nearing the end of our interview season. Any further interview invitations would be communicated through email and the AADSAS webportal.

did you not send in the secondary app fee in the first place?


upcoming tufts interviews are going to be for waitlist spots. they didn't say that in the email invite, but on the day of, they told us that 166 people put down deposits form 175 class size. so most likely we'll be going on the waitlist (I interviewed 3/3).

if you don't have any acceptance, DO IT.

if tufts is your number 1 school, do it.

if you've already gotten into multiple schools without much interest in tuft, forget it.


Honestly, what's $70? You've probably already spend so much money on app.
