Hey Guys,
I just wanted to ask you all for advice. I took my MCAT in April and did really poorly on it, I received a 22R (PS8, VR10, BS4). My other stats are 3.65GPA, 3.3~3.4sGPA, publications, and above average EC, as well as volunteering, shadowing, research, medical missions, ext.
I officially signed up for the retake for July 14th, since I knew that raising my MCAT score would make me or break my admission process. However, I took a Gen Chem class this summer (I got a C during undergrad and decided to retake it). The class was a lot of busy work and made me neglect the MCAT's a bit due to all the work. I signed up for the July 28th date and will study hard for the next 3+ weeks. I am a little scared, since I have so much riding on this exam. Would you recommend to push it to August or is that too late? My apps are all completed and verified, just waiting for the second score before I send them all out.
I appreciate all the advice!
Thank you!
