Too late to add schools?!?!?

I have been verified for a long time but I want to add a few more schools to my list. Is it too late in the game already?

depends on the school. With rolling admissions, it makes it a little tougher. However, if you've got good enough stats, I think you'll be fine

make sure to look at the individual school deadlines...some have mid-nov deadlines....

Yes, indeed, the deadline for many schools is Nov. 15 for the AMCAS submission (or addition), and the secondary deadline will likely follow shortly thereafter between Dec. 1 and Jan. 31.

I think it's fine to add up to the 14th, or even the 15th, if you feel so inclined. In the case of you, instigata, I say hold off until that date, however, since you took the August MCAT and most of the action will be in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for your replies everybody. I was considering adding EVMS but you have a good point Nebbione, maybe I should wait a couple of weeks and see what happens...well at least until the 14th or so.

On Oct. 24th i added Mayo, and I already have an invitation for a secondary phone interview screening - so not only can you add, but i don't think it worsens your chances at all. good luck!

I think you'll be fine as long as it is before the deadline.
