Hi all, I totally forgot that NOVA has rolling admissions and the deadline for them is january 5, 2015. I havent submitted my pharmcas yet, but i think NOVA might already have filled all the spots they have because of rolling admissions?

U can still apply. They continue to interview until April. Rolling admission does not mean all spots are taken within 2 months! 🙂

Lol if everyone had this type of mentality then they wouldn't even fill up... Of course it is not TOO late to apply...? But keep in mind NOVA is very slow with informing about interviews / acceptances...

With my experience they were not slow at least for the interview. I received a call on monday at 5 PM that they had received all my information and then received an email for an interview on Wednesday at 1 PM.

I'm in the same boat. I hesitate submitting my application until now due to I have few missing things such as I only have one LOR, no volunteer in pharmacy, one prerequisite. Should I submit my application now or it is too late?

sorry to discourage you but you will most likely waste your money (or in other word, donate your money).

I have a question for you.....

Is your PHARMCAS verified? Are your PCAT scores up? Because, I don't think having no volunteer experience and having 1 prereq left is enough to disqualify you. In my experience, they will atleast look at you with one letter & you don't need to have pharmacy experience to be accepted.

Maybe your chances are slim... but its only going to cost you 200 dollars to apply to NOVA and do the supplemental. in my opinion, I would gladly "waste" 200 dollars even if there is only a slim chance.... though I can't speak for everyone and their situations.

Im applying really late too, my application just got verified a couple days ago.... and I'm still in the race and I already have 1 interview from 1 school & the only difference between us is I have 3 LOR's already. I'm just saying... before you give up.... see if there is anything you can do.

This is just my opinion & I wish you the best of luck.
