Too Late to Apply to NYU and Tufts?

I know that Tufts and NYU accept applications until February. Is it worth it to apply at this point in time or is there basically no chance of getting an interview?

My stats are decent (3.8 GPA, 20AA/20TS/17PAT), but I only applied to 4 other schools and I do not think I will be accepted to any of them. I applied in late November, which explains why I am not having luck this cycle.

Should I risk the money and apply to NYU and Tufts? I would really like to enroll next year.
If not, I will just take a gap year and apply early next cycle.

What do you think SDN???

I'd say call the school and ask them what they think. I doubt they'd be untruthful so that they could get your supplemental fee.

Too late now, but I wouldn't have applied this year if submitting in Nov. Just a waste of good money. I would've waited until next app cycle.

I wouldn't call the schools now. You can't trust them--they may just want the app fee.

Not sure about NYU. Tufts I would say you have a (long) shot. Their cycle is skewed towards the later end of things. Worth the money? Up to you.
