  1. Pre-Podiatry
I already applied to medical schools and have interviewed at 2 Caribbean schools and got into one so far. My stats are 3.45 overall gpa, 21 MCAT,lots of extracurriculars, shadowing and volunteer work. I just shadowed a podiatrist during my winter break and absolutely love the profession and think i want to become a podiatrist instead of pursuing medical school. I am wondering if it is too late to apply to podiatry schools?

NOPE. Do it! I think that you have a great shot at any of the schools but Arizona and Des Moines (both of these have smaller class sizes and tend to be picker). Don't let that stop you from applying though to all 9. This thread is a decent source of recent feedback on the schools: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/thr...on-may-29-2014-for-fall-2014-chances.1074650/ Feel free to post any questions that you may have.

Your career odds are better as a Podiatrist than a carribean-grad FP doc (IMO). Apply Podiatry (after shadowing a different Podiatrist), or improve your stats and apply to American medical schools (and or/Podiatry schools) next cycle.
