Do you guys think that it is too late to apply to med school???

No...as long as you already have everything pretty much ready to go (ie: graduated already or graduating by next spring with all pre-reqs taken, MCAT done, at least know who you are going to ask for LORs). The August MCATers won't have their apps complete until October. You'll have to be on the ball, but it is quite do-able.

I'm confused, what exactly do you mean? Too late in life to apply? To late in the year? To late to just decide that you want to go into medicine and apply this year? If you have taken the MCAT and are ready to go, then no it's not to late. Plenty of people will take the MCAT in August and their apps won't be done until October.

Shouldn't you know the answer? I mean you've been through this process already and you're going to USC, right?

Its not too late IMO as long as everything is ready to go(ps, LORs, etc.)...but tell your friend to get a move on.

I think you should reapply and give your spot in med school to someone who actually wants it.

I don't think it's too late to apply. If you think that USC is not for you, you should trust your gut. You don't want to end up hating everything because you made the wrong choice.

You got me. Outside of the price, I don't think there is anything I would change. Maybe change the admissions so we only admit females who have been models in the past.

Actually I was a model...but I think that is a great policy to hold the men to. I really don't think that washboard abs are too much to ask for. Anyway, you people get so excited about things. I was asking about my brother you dweebs. He is kind of a procrastinator like his sister(I applied in Oct.) I personally think that he should either get off his ass and finish his app or take another year off and go work in New Zealand. Guess I'm just trying to live vicariously cause I'm stuck in LA for 4 years.
