So I just started phlebotomy certification which involves 120 hrs. of hospital training where you get to see patients and interact with them. I haven't finished yet but will be close by the time I submit my app. It doesn't guarantee that I'll get a job in the hospital but it is 120 hrs of unpaid training. Should I put this in as an EC or just wait until secondaries/interview and mention it then? If I should mention it as an EC, would it be considered volunteer work since I'm not getting paid? 120 hours is a lot of clinical exposure. i would include it. as for the classification im not sure.

Needs to be in primary app. Adcoms will be wondering what kind of patient contact you did if it's not there.

yes put it in and put it in as volunteer wrok. once you get the job, you can mention that as a job later.
