I've been posting a while on SDN with my problems, but I guess this post really consolidates my worries.
I just completed my first year of college.
I essentially took too many science classes in my freshman year of college. I had bad advising and I thought it'd be ok to take a lot of science classes. However, I screwed up and did badly in them. I thought I was doing fine, but apparently not...
I took 5 classes and 3 labs. I got 2 C+s, 3 Cs, and 3 B-s.
As you can probably guess my science GPA is very very low...
What does anyone recommend to rectify the situation?
I believe that I'm at the position where retaking is not "needed" per se. However, I will retake some classes I guess, but I really don't want to retake that many. Will taking higher level classes and doing well in them prove that I can handle hard core science material?
Any advice is appreciated.
