Top Score CD has a dumb policy

I'm not mad at the quality of the CD, since I can't install it, but the "expiration" policy on that software.

Basically, I"ve ordered Top Score DAT CD last year in September. I will be taking the DAT exam in a 13 days.

So I tried to install the software on my computer, and couldn't find the key to unlock the software. Then I emailed customer support, they gave me a key to unlock the software. Still, no luck. Then I contacted Top Score's customer support again, and they give me a cold response of "look at the FAQ webpage." If I'm not mistaken, they are trying to tell me that my software expired and they want me to spend another $47 to buy their product.

I'm going to call them right now and SPEAK to somebody over this issue. It doesn't sound right. 😡

I ordered TopScore a while back and it expired before I was to take my DAT. I asked for an extension and they said purchase another key. I thought to myself...to hell with you guys.

i know. it happened to me too. you can buy the 2003 topscore version for $3 from a russian website. they deserve to lose..

yeah i feel the topscore expiration is a problem. i hope nobody purchases two codes and feeds those guys. if they want us to buy another code after the first one expires, then the first one should last at least 3 or 6 months longer than it does. mine will run out about a week before i take my dat.

Lucky for you...why don't you burn like a thousand copies and distribute them? Then TopScore will think twice about burning people.

same thing happened to me...but they refunded me a portion of it because i was just renewing the CD...call their customer service number and ask them about the discounted renewal price.

This sucks. I am waiting until the term ends to use the cd but I bought it sometime last year. It better not be expired. Is it good for a certain amount of time from purchase or from installation?

is it possible to completely uninstall this and then alter the date of the computer clock? would not work if it requires internet connection to validate though 🙁

me do that NEVER muaa...but the one thing is im not sure if its teh same exams or if they have more up to date exams with more relevant questions

I used to have one like that too...and lost it...WTF...now I Can't get this **** unlocked...

I was about to buy TopScore last week. Luckily, I read the FAQ BEFORE making the purchase as it would have expired before I take my DATs.
