Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone had any insightful information about the Touro college program for example my situation is I have a 3.4 gpa I dont have all my volunteer hours I'm about 50 hours short, I can get 3 good letters of recomendation and i haven't taken any gre's because i plan on transfering into the bhs/msot program they have, at my current school I have 72 credits with the pre req for the OT program.....If anyone out their has any information on the admission's process, interview or whatever it would be very much appreciated and one more thing I plan on applying for the spring 2011 class but want to hand in my paper work by march of next year. I want to be very early

Do you live in NY? The SUNY system and York are more than adequate and plenty cheaper.

I currently live in Brooklyn and gave thought to the Stony Brook and york system, but i heard Touro was a good move for me

Hi there! I just had my interview today and I think it went pretty well. What do you think my chances of getting in are?
GPA: 3.26
Natural Science GPA: 3.56
volunteer hours: 450-500 (nursing home, school, therapeutic horseback riding, rehab)
GRE- TERRIBLE (this is what I am worried about ) didnt break 1000
I also work as a PT aide and OT aide- have lots of experience hands on.
CPR and teaching assistant certified.

Your answer probably depends on the other applicants.. how you ranked.

Youre probably in the running, but w/o that crucial info, nobody will know.

Applied there pretty late- in late January. Made the first cut and had to send an additional application with documentation of volunteer hours. Got a rejection email the other day. Apply early early early.
