Some one already posted this in the osteopathic forum, but I thought some of you on the pre-osteo forum might have some insight...
How, if at all, will Touro Harlem impact on NYCOMs current rotations, especially in NYC.
 
There are so many excellent hospitals in that area for rotations that I am sure no one will take any oportunities away from anyone else as far as rotation oportunities. 😀
 
Im sure something will be worked out between the 2 schools so they arent in competition. There is also a ton of hopitals on the Upper East Side that I dont think NYCOM has a lot of rotations, but just a guess everything w/ Touro NY sounds TBD at this point

I cannot comment on these two schools specifically, but Philadelphia shares its hospitals among 5 medical schools. Those hospitals that accept overlapping students do quite well and it always seems to end up being a positive when you have students from other medical schools with you on service.
