Nah. It's always been 140. Usually number fluctuate as the class advances due to ppl coming in from previous years or ppl unfortunately dropping out.
Around primary was August, and secondary in September and October got the II

I can't say how much movement exactly since it "varies every year" -this is what I was told when I was on the waitlist myself last year and inquired (there's hope!). calling to ask (if you haven't yet) doesn't hurt!

I was SUPER late 😭 I submitted my primary on 2/20, secondary 2/26, II 2/27, Interviewed 3/17, WL 4/8!! I am crossing my fingers for some movement!

Pretty unusual that they waited over 8 months to decide whether they wanted to give you an interview or not

with all due respect, what makes you say that? i do think they waitlist tons and tons of candidates because they need a roster to fill seats that open up. but how would it benefit them to tell everyone that they’re highly ranked? you could very well be right but I am just trying to better understand this perspective
no, it's not sent to everyone. I didn't receive it last year and was on the WL when it was sent out.
