I just thought I would say that today I got an email from the admissions committee letting me know that I will be notified of their decision within 4 weeks. I really appreciate these schools that are moving quickly.

Hi guys I submitted my supplemental application 9/9! There were a lot of jewish holidays the last 6 weeks, so that may have delayed things a bit. You should get an email soon.

Yeah I also received the e-mail from Touro. I submitted my supplemental on 9/8. They never mention anything about interviews, do you know if they accept applicants without interviews or do they hold on campus interviews?

TUN DPT'17 here - they do not hold interviews.

They sent it in email. I had my application verified by PTCAS in the morning and TUN sent it to me around 8pm that same day!

Socalboy, they look at your application in alphabetical order before they send you the request to fill out the supplemental application. It took almost two weeks from verification to fill out the supplemental application.

Thank you for the response and putting my mind a little bit more at ease. I was just growing concerned because jogu1551 stated that his verification and supplement came on the same day. The waiting game is giving me such bad anxiety.

I guess I got lucky getting it the same day. Michael is pretty slow with the apps, I waited two weeks after submitted my secondary app to receive confirmation from him. Nothing to worry about, just be patient!

Exactly, agree with jogu. You might email Michael if you get antsy. That's what I did, which is how I found out he does them alphabetically. Is TUN your guys' first choice?

I haven't heard anything yet... And I haven't heard bad things about Touro. I really like their location. Henderson is a fantastic town. Would also like to know if anyone has heard good things about the program. @1027453812 ?

Henderson is in a really convenient location: ~20 minutes from las vegas with cheap housing.

The program has switched from semesters to trimesters - so there will be a slight switch in the curriculum. Otherwise - let me know what else I can assist you with as far as questions are concerned.

Does their program prepare students for the field? Do the professors care about the student's success in the program? Do they have connections to clinical programs around the area? Are the facilities up to date? Are there financial assistance opportunities?

cost of living is really cheap here - I currently rent a 4 bedroom house with 3 other classmates and we pay $400/month + utilities (split evenly) so we total out to ~500/month.

Graduation and pass rates have improved. Last year pass rate was >90%.

I cant have a direct say in this question - although several of our classmates were pulled off the waitlist. One of them was taken off 1 month before school started - be patient

Qkhan were you waitlisted? I haven't heard anything at all yet. Last year, I saw people on this forum said that instead of 4 weeks it took more like 7/8 weeks to hear back. :/

Conditional acceptance may mean that you were accepted with the basis that you need to fulfill certain requirements before you can fully be accepted (i.e complete 1-2 pre-req courses)

I spoke with Mr. Wilson today and he said he can't really say anything as it is all up to the admissions committee. And it can take more than the 4 weeks after the email. So I guess we just have to keep waiting

My application was verified 10/1. It took them forever to send me the supplement. It'll probably take forever to send me the confirmation email as well.

If you email Michael and ask him to send you the supplemental he will within 2 days. that's what happened with me. I never received the supplemental request so I emailed him and he sent it to me. :/

Someone else did and Michael said it's out of his hands. The ad comm will take as long as they will take... Which is fine, but I wish they would modify their email to say 4-8 weeks or whatever time frame it actually is.
