Toy Building Blocks for PAT Cube Counting?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i never heard of that tho... usually people write 0-5 tables and either count the blocks or recognize blocks(like i can recognize when i see a 5 sided cube)... dont need to go overboard w/ building blocks all u have to do is count sides... thats all...

The testing center gives you a small white board and marker, correct?

yeah they give you a 2 yellow pieces of Special paper which you write w/ erasable marker...
you just do this write down 0 1 2 3 4 5 and keep a tally system to keep track of everything... 0 sides cube 1 side cube etc...

When I first wrote this, I was having trouble with the cubes. Went out and bought some blocks and a white board to try those methods. Needless to say, your 0-5 method does the trick. The blocks were helpful at first but now I don't need them unless I come a cross a nasty one that I need a physical view of to see why I got it wrong. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I'm getting like 90% of these CrackPAT cubes right now. 👍

Also-- it only takes about 75 seconds to get a figure finished.. so like 25 seconds per question-- not bad. Before I'd spend 2 minutes trying to count all the 2 blocks and then lose track. :scared:

the best way not to lose track is count one row at a time... Start from the back and count your way towards front and repeat... so u never lose track...
hope this helps bud...
