I have the new one. It's totally different passages for the most part. Both there are definitely repeats. They also removed all FSQs in the book. I hate TPR for this. They did it so you get FSQs on Amplifire- which is a waste of time.I would actually like to know the extent to which SWB has changed for 2015. Advice, SDN people? 🙂

They're the same questions as in the old SWB. So you could just do those instead. Amplifire is a waste of time imoThe Amplifire questions are also extremely frustrating at times in terms of difficulty. I'm not sure if that's just me.

only the new one has psych passagesIs it worth getting TPR for the Science Workbook? I have the old one, would that suffice for the new MCAT for passages?
I think you would be just fine using the old swb and using Khan for psyc/soc passagesIs it worth getting TPR for the Science Workbook? I have the old one, would that suffice for the new MCAT for passages?
Do you get access to Amplifire when you are not in their registered courses, or..?They did it so you get FSQs on Amplifire- which is a waste of time.
You mean - they're too difficult? The Amplifire questions are also extremely frustrating at times in terms of difficulty. I'm not sure if that's just me.

Also, if they were in the pre 2015 editions of the science workbook, wouldn't they be doable?
You don't get access to Amplifire if you're not registered but it's not a huge loss don't worry.I've not used the Khan resources for their passages yet. How does everyone feel about Khan's style of passages?
Ah I see. Yea I just started the course so haven't delved into amplifire yet - it does seem to go on and on - to me, I feel that it would be very hard if you're NOT very familiar with the topic yet (because you're forced to do a Q you know not much about)!I usually score better on FL tests than I do on some of the Amplifires. Amplifires are great practice but at least in experience they all take very long to complete.
Thank you!You don't get access to Amplifire if you're not registered but it's not a huge loss don't worry.
People seem to approve of khan's psyc soc passages
Ahhh okay. I had the old workbook previously so I'll just do those discretes since they're sameAh I see. Yea I am in course haha, so too bad then, as I'll have to be doing some amplifire too. 🙂
