How did you guys do on the practice tests in the TPR verbal workbook? I have been insanely better on these than any other source I am using (TPR diags and EK101). Are these easier or somethin?

I've heard various things about TPR verbal passages in relation to other sources. It's generally regarded as a good source of verbal practice with EK 101 being better.

Same here, I think these are way too easy. That being said, does anyone think it would be a bad idea to practice with these passages/tests in the days leading up to Test Day? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

I used both TPR Verbal Workbook and EK101 as practice. TPR is decent. The problem is that they often present you with more difficult (i.e. convoluted) passages, but the questions themselves are a lot easier. EK has a different approach. I found the EK passages far easier to read, but the answer choices were far more ambiguous. IMO, the latter is more representative of the real MCAT.

TPR does not hurt, but I would consider EK101 to be better practice.

I am using TPR hyperlearning (not in the class though). I find I miss about more than on AAMC practice test. I don't think they are easier. Plus they have some errors in answers I have found

I did TPR before my MCAT - I did not do the class, just the online exams and some of the book - I already have my scores so I can say with confidence that TPR prepared me well. I am not totally sure about the book passages, but I can tell you that I was getting 10s and rarely 11s on my CBTs, while I got a 12 on the real thing...basically I would not spend your money on buying more practice tests or books because TPR does the trick.
