So all my grades are in from 3rd year rotations. But my the grade from my first 4th year away elective (finished 2 weeks ago), i think, would not be finalized before I submit my application Sept 1st. Does it matter?

You can always have your school send an updated transcript to ERAS. The new one will automatically be sent to all programs to which you have applied.

I'm in a similar position except with one of my core clerkships yet the lady who handles our ERAS materials says she will only upload transcripts once which I find quite unacceptable.

I agree, I find it unacceptable. Exactly how much are you paying for medical school? You'd think you'd get pretty good service for that money. And, how difficult could it be to upload a transcript?

However, chances are the grade will be available by Nov and will be included in your MSPE, so it really doesn't matter much.
