Well that title says it all..
Is it worth transferring to another school for better research opportunity?
The school in particular requires senior research papers, and offers paid internships during the summer.. I'm considering transferring.. Wondering if it would be a good idea just for the research opportunity.
(yes the academics are great, top 20 regional as well, liberal arts though)
Thoughts?

Are you happy at your current school? Are you capable of tracking down research at this school?

Also take into account at a higher ranked school, you may have tougher competitive academics that may impact your GPA. So all things being equal, a research opportunity would helpful. But not at the cost of GPA, MCAT prep, cost, any EC's you may have long term involvement with, etc. You need a side by by comparison with positive and negatives. There are also the unknowns of how "comfortable" you will be at the new place over the old. There is a lot said for knowing how things work, go, etc at your current place
