Is it possible to study 2-years pre-clinical course in a british university and then tranfer to an American medical school for the clinical years and obtain a MD degree?

I really don't think that's very easy to do. I wouldn't say unheard of, but I don't think you'd get very far because while there is a division between pre-clinical and clinical (i.e. 1st two years, last 2 years) it isn't as pronounced as in the UK. The four years are just collectively known as "med school" without a big distinction between preclinical and clinical. It's much easier for someone US trained (as in undergrad with a premed intent) to transfer into the clinical years of the UK schools, or some other modification
