Hey everyone,
I'm a 2nd year student in Chicago and am considering trying to transfer to a med school in NYC for next year. Just wondering if there are any Mt. Sinai 3rd or 4th year students on here...if so, do you have any positive/negative opinions of the rotations, the school, the students, etc.?? (I would also consider applying to Columbia, but I think they only let in a couple transfer students each year.) Since I would ultimately like to end up back in ny, I am also hoping that it may be easier to make some connections/ get into residency in NYC if I spend M3-4 years there? If anyone has any sort of advice or experiences (likes, dislikes) about M3-4 years in NYC/at Mt. Sinai, please let me know! I know it'll be tough to get in anyway, but I just need some advice to guide my decision whether or not to even try... Thanks!
