Transposon vs. insertion sequence

Could somebody tell me the difference between a transposon and an insertion sequence?
 
Insertion sequences are part of transposons which use insertion sequences to insert themselves into another, or another part of the, genome. Transposons will carry other genes with them. E.g. genes for antibiotic resistance
